Tell you employer immediately. They will tell you whether they have a "network" physician
that you must see for work-related injuries and provide you with a list of available doctors. If they do not have a network in place as approved by the state, they have the right to tell you where to get medical assistance for the first 30 days of the claim, after which you
may choose your own doctor. We expect that most employers and insurance companies will have set up a network for you.
In an emergency, seek medical care immediately. The law requires that the employer or insurance company pay for immediate medical care while
they are deciding whether or not to accept the claim, up to $10,000.
Your Employer is required to provide you with a Claim Form to use when filing for workers' compensation benefits.
