Injured Workers, Doctors, Experts Make Case Against
Confirming Workers’ Comp. Director
VotersInjuredatWork.org., a statewide political group fighting for the rights of voters injured on the job, announced today that it will hold a news conference on Wednesday to make the case for blocking Andrea Hoch’s confirmation as Administrative Director of the State Division of Workers’ Compensation. Injured workers, doctors and experts will demonstrate how Hoch has taken away injured workers’ rights, care, and compensation.
“We will work to block Hoch because she has gone out of her way to take permanent disability compensation and other rights from injured workers,” said Mark Hayes, president of the non-profit political organization for injured workers and their families. “We want to send a clear message to the governor that the system has not been fixed.”
